☄ abilities Les is a shifter whose soul animal is a bighorn sheep. Les would joke that this is related to his stubborn and assertive nature, but has no idea why he was chosen to be a ram. Though he is generally disinterested in making full shifts, he has the benefit of good eyesight, incredible balance, and strong bones. He can also jump an impressive distance. He almost always has sheep eyes-- elongated, rectangular pupils, that allow him to have a longer range of vision than your average individual. He also occasionally grows ram horns, usually either as an intimidation tactic or to aid in a fight.


☄ role Les' day job as a server is not his primary source of income, though he can be seen working at a high-end restaurant in the entertainment district part-time. He's actually a professional sugar baby and pays for bills and entertainment by taking wealthy patrons on dates. He even got his current apartment, located in a high rise nestled between the entertainment and eros districts, by direct donation of a wealthy mage who passed ownership onto him. Polyamorous and a natural flirt, being a step away from a call boy is Les' ideal career and he enjoys making money doing the things he loves. Many of Les' clients are secretive about their relationship with him, some even having a family, but he is generally indifferent to their outside lives. He most enjoys how powerful he feels asserting his dominance over those who rule both business and the world, especially considering his roots in poverty.


☄ appearance Les is short and thin with blocky, protruding shoulders and hips. He keeps a relaxed posture, often leaning back with a hand on his waist or a craned back neck when he speaks. His skin is a light olive, almost imperceptibly coloured. He has a diamond shaped face, thin eyebrows, and round, green eyes. His hair is just above shoulder length with a center part, his medium brown hair fading to blonde at the ends. He usually wears his hair in a bun or ponytail, or with the front pulled into a small ponytail over the rest. He has a light scar on his right eyebrow that disrupts hair growth, and a metal prosthetic left hand, which he occasionally wears a white silk glove over to dissipate the coldness of its touch. He also has a scar from his right nipple to an inch over his bellybutton and a set of perpendicular scars on his left thigh. He usually wears casual, loose clothing, including crop tops, boatneck shirts, and cutoff shorts.


☄ personality Les is extremely flirty and assertive and will hit on anything of consenting age. If someone is upset by his flirtiness, he generally disengages totally. He often comes off vapid although he is secretly clever, knowing what buttons to push to get people to give him what he wants. He loves interacting with people and can strike up a conversation with almost anyone. Les spends most of his free time in bars, trying to pick up dates for fun.

Les is confident and cool, made to impress. He uses light facial expressions with most people, only allowing himself to be exceptionally exciteable or aggressive around those he is familiar with. He has little care for common morality and follows his own rules nonchalantly. He tends to ignore those who express distaste for his way of life and would much rather focus his energy on things that bring him entertainment and joy. 


☄ strengths  

01.)  Les is very charismatic and can convince most people to do almost anything for his benefit with the right words and body language. Granted, the things he usually asks for involve some sort of pleasure or entertainment- he has little interest in politics or espionage.

02.)  Once he bonds with someone, Les is extremely commited and loyal. He will risk his life for individuals he cares about and has gotten into plenty of fights for his friends.

03.) Les has an impressively strong skeleton and can take a decent amount of pressure before breaking his bones. He has to, or else using his horns would likely crack his skull.

☄ weaknesses  

01.)  Les' left hand was amputated as a young adult and, although he has a cool and useful replacement, he is still haunted both by the circumstances of its loss and phantom limb pain. Les has fairly severe PTSD and suffers from frequent nightmares and panic attacks. He has a few triggers which can induce a panic response, including certain illicit drugs, pliers and a few other tools, cat shifters, and personal knives, like pocket and hunting knives. He tends to self-medicate by drinking, and is a borderline alcoholic.

02.) Les is extremely arrogant and tends to get in fights because of it. Though he is generally respectful of people wanting to be left alone, he responds poorly to people responding to his flirtiness with aggression and will retaliate almost immediately.

03.)  Despite his charisma, Les has a difficult time connecting with other people on a deep, personal level. He has a hard time revealing his thoughts and feelings, and any intimate relationships he's had have generally suffered deeply because of it. He has to be prodded and encouraged to share exponentially more than the average person.

☄ history Born in raised in Alcestis Towers, Les grew up your standard brand of inner city poverty. Raised by his single father, a factory worker, He spent most of his time alone in the towers, getting along with some of the wrong types of people. As a teenager, he was eventually made a drug dealer for a Cestie gang and was sent to bring the product to wealthy mages and shifters due to his charisma and ability to get out of sticky situations. He brought in a killing, convincing the already monitarily gifted to sink even more money into the drugs that they were buying. He even befriended a number of the people he dealt to, some bonds still unbroken to this day.

At age 21, the group that he worked for was targeted by a rival gang who pinpointed Les as a major source of income. To punish Les' group, they tortured him and cut off his hand, leaving him near death in an abandoned building near the towers before he was discovered missing and found by his fellow dealers. They petitioned for help to a wealthy mage who had found the deepest bond with Les, and after a long stay in the hospital he healed and decided to stop dealing. Les required a number of surgeries during his hospital stay- his jaw had been broken and a number of teeth pulled out, the stub where his hand had been required reshaping to fit a prosthetic, and the bones in his other arm had been shattered, lascerations on his body sewn shut. The mage who funded his recovery insisted that both he and his father move in with her or else a similar situation befall them but Les rejected the proposal, so instead she rented an apartment from them closer to downtown, away from the gangs and drugs. She got Les his first real job working at a cafe, and then later a series of jobs at more and more expensive restaurants.

Through serving, Les made contact with an even larger mass of wealthy mages and shifters and was eventually propositioned by one to trade dates and entertainment for pay. Intrigued he accepted, finding it to be the best buck he had ever made. He found countless other clients to take on over time, through charm and word of mouth, until he was able to move out to an apartment gifted to him by a client, leaving his father with his own home.  Though he feels guilt for what he put his dad through in his younger years, he is ultimately glad he was able to bring them away from a terrible area, even if through unconventional means.
